WARNING: This book contains some suggestive scenes and themes, some violence, and some vulgar language. It is not intended for those easily offended or appalled. Please enjoy at your own discretion.

Jamie, a single father, spirals into a horrific tailspin when his beloved son, Casey, begins to exhibit extreme signs of aggression. When Casey’s behavior challenges the realm of human explanation, Jamie questions and tackles every sinister possibility. Enlisting the aid of doctors, a parapsychologist, and a priest, Jamie delves into a frightening world of uncertainty. A severe mental illness? A spiritual ailment? A supernatural attack? The terrifying truth emerges from the most fiendish corner…

Can Jamie save his son from an eternity of torment?

I just re-read A Boy Possessed / In The Name of the Devil for the second time.

We are watch as a man does everything he possibly can to find out what is wrong with his son. Doctor after doctor find nothing medically wrong, but try to tell this man that there is nothing wrong, after the late nights trying to soothe his only child, after all the things he has been witness to?! We get to see just how far a father is willing to go, and the pain he endures, to save his son from something he doesn’t (yet) understand.
It’s an emotional ride through doctors, psychiatrists, old frenemies, and finally a priest – all to explain something that can’t possibly be happening to his baby boy. He soon realizes once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth, and nothing will keep him from trying to make it end.
The additions and rewrites did improve on the story.  If you haven’t read A Boy Possessed or  In The Name of the Devil, what the HELL are you waiting for, a second coming?!
